About the artist
Brigid Corcoran is an Australian artist from Ballarat in regional Victoria. As a mixed-media artist, her work combines painting, spray painting, drawing and paper collage. “I collect fashion magazines to use in my art to provide interesting textures. I love layering these textures with paint to create depth and movement in my work. I am obsessed with the thumping vibrancy of the Australian landscape, the bush, the birds, the native grasses and the epic vistas; my work is constantly inspired by all its sensory delights.”
